This 40’ standard box car with single door is painted red with black roof and ends. It bears the black and silver “Feather River Route” herald and silver lettering. This car was built in October 1951 by Pullman-Standard and runs on Bettendorf trucks. All but the first 20 of these 600 box cars were delivered with mineral red sides and black roof and ends. The series 20821-21400 is stenciled with this new Zephyr-inspired herald and lettering.
