![]() This 50’ rib side box car with plug door and no roofwalk is painted with orange sides, black ends and aluminum roof. The logo is red with black lettering on the sides and white lettering on the end. It was built in November 1966 by National Steel Car Co. and runs on Barber® Roller Bearing trucks. It came built with movable bulkheads, 8” thick insulation, and thermostatically controlled alcohol heaters. This series of box cars were Canadian Pacific’s first modern design incorporating exterior posts and interior insulation, saving space and weight.
