These 40’ standard box cars with single doors, tall ladders and no roofwalks are painted green with black, red and white logos and white lettering. They were built in February 1948, serviced in 1969, and run on Bettendorf trucks. They were part of the NP’s rebuilding program, which began in 1959 and continued into the late 1960s. When the program was completed in 1969, the NP had orders to paint all shopped equipment in BN Green, including the trucks.
