N Scale This 39’ single dome tank car is painted grey with black belly and red vertical band. In 1892 Edward L. Doheny discovered oil in Los Angeles which started the Southern California oil boom. Following this, he started the Mexican Petroleum Co. In 1916 he incorporated Pan American Petroleum and Transport Co. as the holding company for Mexican Petroleum. This car is one of a 25 car order from AC&F in 1923.
