This 39’ single dome tank car is grey with black lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Owned by General American Transportation Corp. and leased to Flo-Sweet Refined Syrups and Sugars Inc. Flo-Sweet, based in Yonkers, NY, was the first domestic producer of liquid sugar, with first production in 1927. Previously, liquid sugars were imported from Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
