57’ Converted TOFC Flat Car, w/ Load

Initially, these cars were built as bulkhead flat cars and featured a 57’-6” loading platform. They were later converted to single trailer TOFC cars in 1983 by the Santa Fe. Many were subsequently rebuilt by Gunderson in 1986 as general purpose flat cars, and sold or leased to SP, often being used in lumber service.
